Project Summary
Shishu Niloy Foundation (SNF) has introduced Specialized and Innovative Financing Programs to address emerging socio-economic challenges and strengthen the resilience of vulnerable communities. These programs combine project-based financial interventions with innovative financing mechanisms to support entrepreneurship, employment generation, enterprise development, and financial inclusion.
The program encompasses a range of initiatives, including Agrosor-SEP, Agrosor-MDP-AF, LRLP (Phase I & II), RRS, Lease Financing, Agrosor-MFCE, RMTP-Special ME, Agrosor-SMART, and CSL-SMART. Through these interventions, SNF provides access to finance, business development support, skills training, market linkage opportunities, and technology-driven solutions for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The program is designed to help individuals recover from economic shocks, expand businesses, create jobs, and contribute to sustainable local economic growth.

Impact
The Specialized and Innovative Financing Programs have significantly contributed to improving the economic well-being of beneficiaries and strengthening local economies.
Project-based interventions have enabled thousands of entrepreneurs and households to restore and expand their income-generating activities following economic disruptions. Through enterprise support, business development services, and access to finance, beneficiaries have experienced increased income, improved business sustainability, and enhanced resilience.
Innovative financing initiatives have facilitated the adoption of productive technologies, improved access to commercial assets, and expanded financing opportunities for small and medium enterprises. These efforts have enhanced productivity, strengthened value chains, and created meaningful employment opportunities.
In addition, the Safety Net Program has provided essential social protection to group members and their families, reducing vulnerability to unexpected crises and ensuring greater financial security.
Achievement
- Under the Agrosor-MDP-AF project, SNF disbursed approximately Tk. 41 crore among 1,288 beneficiaries.
- More than 4,500 members experienced increased income through project-based interventions.
- Over 2,000 new employment opportunities were created under various rehabilitation and enterprise development projects.
- Innovative financing initiatives disbursed approximately Tk. 15 crore to support enterprise growth and MSME development.
- At least 2,170 additional employment opportunities were generated through innovative financing programs.
